The Anne Shirley Theatre Company (ASTC) has been a student-run group at Trent University since its creation in 2002. ASTC strives to produce theatre programming within the Trent University community that is as accessible and inclusive as possible. ASTC wishes to provide opportunities for students to experience all aspects of theatre, both on and off the stage.
This company was formed after the successful production of Anne of Green Gables in the 2002-2003 school year by the group's founders: Emily Boag, Matthew Brady, Erin Clow, Rachael Nicholls, and Amanda Pulker. That show inspired the name of our company. Since then, Anne Shirley Theatre has continued to grow and showcase the talents of many wonderful performers year after year through our annual productions and events. Whether you are backstage, in the audience, or under the spotlight, the Anne Shirley Theatre Company would not be possible without you and your support of the arts! Information about auditions can be found in the Get Involved tab.
