She is a first-year student here at Trent University in Honours Sociology. With a broad background in theatre and comedy, including performances in Annie (Annie), The Audition (Carrie), improv showcases and original sketch shows, Anna hopes to entertain and delight as the youngest member of the March sisters. |
Ashton Kelly - Jo March
Ashton Kelly has always had a passion for performing and has been acting in theatre since high school. She recently graduated from Acting For Film and Television at Niagara College. This will be her second production with the Anne Shirley Theatre Company as she was also in 2019’s production of Cabaret. She is so thrilled to bring Jo March to life on stage for you all. This is a dream role for her and she is so excited to be a part of such a fantastic telling of a truly classic story. |
Callum Sywyk - Mr. Brooke
In the past, Callum Sywyk has been in Beauty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid and now Little Women. He is a student at Trent University studying Business Administration. Outside of theatre, he enjoys playing basketball, hockey and any other sports he has time for. He also enjoys watching movies and tv shows in his free time. He is a big Star Wars and Marvel fan; those are probably the movies he watches the most. |
Charlotte McAren-Cayer - Aunt March
Charlotte McAren-Cayer currently lives in Peterborough, Ontario but grew up in Guelph ON and Vancouver BC. Charlotte’s first theatre experience was in 2021, taking Robert Winslow’s “Making Theatre” course at Trent University. Aside from theatre, Charlotte is a visual artist, musician, and waitress. She is also downright rude, evil, and tremendously rich, making her the perfect choice for her role in Little Women. |
Liam Hammond - Mr. Lawerence
Liam Hammond is a second-year Cultural Studies and Film Student at Trent. This is his first stage role however he has experience acting, writing, and directing on YouTube in comedy sketches and short films. Liam has received two short story awards, as well as the Barry Dempster Young Writers Award. Much of his writing since is focused on film scripts. When he's not writing and editing YouTube videos, you can probably find him building replica movie props or playing hockey. |
Oskar Ferguson - LauriE
Oskar is a third-year psychology student from a little town near Peterborough. He was in a few musical productions including Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid through his high school career at St. Peter's, during which he took drama class every single year. He’s always had a soft spot for music and acting so when he heard that there was a production at Trent he jumped at the opportunity. Oskar sincerely hopes you all enjoy the production! |
